Once you have chosen your skirting profile, you will need to email us at sales@kadura.com.au with the amount of skirting needed and what profile you would like to order. From there, we will send you an invoice which will also include shipping costs. Your order will not be sent before the invoice has been paid.

We offer 5.3 lm or 2.65 lm length skirting. To measure how much you need, you’ll need a tape measure to measure each wall, corner to corner. Once you have each wall measured, you need to add the measurements together and divide by 5.3 or 2.65. This will give you the amount of lengths you need.

The first thing you will need to measure is your existing skirting to determine the size of the cap. At Kadura, our capped skirting can be used over 33mm, 66mm and 92mm skirting. So if you had existing skirting that is 33mm in height, you would need to order the 35mm capped skirting.

Please be aware that our capped skirting will only fit over existing skirting that is 10-12mm thick.

At Kadura, our skirting range will comfortably fit over existing skirting up to 93mm in height and between 10mm-12mm in width. This will exclude our Lambs Tongue C skirting as it will only be suitable for heights up to 66mm.

Please refer to the above FAQ 'How do I know what cap size to order?' to make sure you order the correct size to get a snug fit over your existing skirting.

Currently we offer 138 x 18mm and 90 x 18mm capped skirting. Please bear in mind that if your existing skirting is already 92mm, you will need to order the 138 x 18mm.

It is always better to have too much, than not enough.  If you have calculated 210lm for your home, you need to divide 210 by 5.3. This equates to 39.6 lengths. Therefore, you either need to round up to 40 lengths of 5.3m or 39 lengths of 5.3m and 1 length of 2.65m.

A linear or lineal metre measures the length of a material, regardless of the width. While the width may vary, the length remains the same at 100cm, just like a standard metre.

We always recommend using a qualified tradesman or experienced DIYers to install any upgrades in your home, however a commonly used product to install skirting and architraves is liquid nails and the use of a finishing gun.
